Northbound I-35 Dedicated Through Lane

Northbound I-35 lane split

NB I-35 lane split

24/7 DEDICATED THROUGH LANE ADDITION: Northbound I-35 FAR LEFT LANE from I-435 to 95th Street will be shifted to the existing southbound I-35 far left lane (and placed between concrete barriers) to create a “dedicated through lane” beginning early morning on Sunday, April 26, weather permitting, so crews can complete widening work on northbound I-35 and on the Pflumm Road bridge.

This northbound I-35 dedicated through lane is scheduled to be removed from use in mid-July 2015, weather permitting. This lane is similar to the westbound I-435 left through lane that was created for ongoing construction work for the #jocogateway project.

Updated daily traffic information for the #jocogateway interchange project can be viewed at www.jocogateway.com and for the entire Kansas City Metro Area at www.ksdot.org/kcmetro/laneclose.asp.

The Kansas Department of Transportation urges all motorists to be alert, obey the warning signs, and “Give ‘Em a Brake!” when approaching and driving through the project work zone. The overall #jocogateway project is scheduled to be completed in late December 2016. (KDOT Project #435-46 KA-1002-06)
