K-10 & Renner Boulevard Interchange Ramp Closures

EXPECT DELAYS! 24/7 FULL WEEKEND RAMP CLOSURES: Renner Boulevard to eastbound K-10 and eastbound K-10 to Renner Boulevard ramps will be CLOSED for water line construction work, 24/7 round the clock, beginning at 10:00 p.m. on Friday, March 27 and will reopen to all traffic at 5:00 a.m. on Monday, March 30, weather permitting.

Marked detours will be provided. See detour map above. Northbound Renner Boulevard traffic will detour via 95th Street ramps at I-435 and southbound Renner Boulevard traffic will detour via College Boulevard to Lackman Road. Eastbound K-10 traffic will detour via northbound I-435 to 95th Street to access Renner Boulevard; or use an alternate suggested detour route: eastbound I-435 to Lackman Road exit to access Renner Boulevard.

Advance message boards will alert traffic to the weekend long ramp closures. Traffic will be directed through the project work zone via signage and cones. Drivers should expect some delays and must use alternate routes during the weekend ramp closures.

The Kansas Department of Transportation urges all motorists to be alert, obey the warning signs, and “Give ‘Em a Brake!” when approaching and driving through the project work zone.
